Guidance Notes
You are reminded that it is your responsibility to ensure your Licence to store Petroleum Spirit at your business address does not expire.
If you wish the Licence to be renewed for the next licensing period, please use the accompanying form, and return it to the Trading Standards Service, York House, Sheet Street, Windsor, SL4 1DD (For the attention of the Petroleum Officer).
A fee is payable in respect of each Licence. The amount of fee depends upon the maximum quantity of petroleum spirit to be kept. Fee levels are set by regulation and subject to periodic review. The fee to paid is can be found on the following webpage

Cheques should be made payable to The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (RBWM).
It IS AN OFFENCE TO CONTINUE TO KEEP PETROLEUM SPIRIT WITHOUT A VALID LICENCE.
If, however, you do not wish to continue keeping petroleum spirit you must notify Trading Standards Service at the address above.
Arrangements can then be made for the removal of any licensed product and making safe, before the current Licence expires.
