Community Partnership
What is the Community Partnership?
We all recognise that no one organisation can make the necessary wide reaching improvements to enable our economy to thrive, to enable healthier, happier, safer lives and reduce our impact on the environment - it is only by local organisations and individuals working together that we can make a real difference.
To achieve this real difference we have a 'Community Partnership' . This Partnership is non-statutory and multi-agency and matches the borough boundary. Across the country Partnerships such as ours are commonly referred to as 'Local Strategic Partnerships' (LSP).
Our Partnership brings together the local public, private, community and voluntary sectors - allowing different initiatives and services to operate in a joined up way, supporting one another for greater effect and efficiency.
To enable this joined up way of working, the Partnership has created a Sustainable Community Partnership Strategy. This explains how the area should change over the next few years and identifies local challenges, priorities and the action required to really support improvements.
Short term delivery for this strategy is via the Partnerships Local Area Agreement.
