The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is the Administering Authority to the Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund. They deal with all information regarding the performance of the Pension Fund and the day-to-day administration of the Local Government Pension Scheme for all members of the Scheme in the County of Berkshire.

With effect from 1 October 2005 the pension administration and payroll services were brought back in-house. The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead therefore has responsibility for keeping records of all current and former members of the Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund and for making payments to existing Pensioners.
