'Wacky' ideas sought as deadline extended for Challenge Prize - [2014-08-20]
The Royal Borough has extended the deadline for entries to its popular Bright Idea Challenge Prize competition to 12midnight, Monday 15 September, to ensure residents who may have been away during the summer still have the opportunity to send in their ideas. The deadline for the young people's prize has been extended to Monday 22 September - to encourage young people's entries through borough schools.

Invoice payments - 'rogue data' skewed figures - Royal Borough is resolved to pay invoices promptly - [2014-08-20]
'Rogue data' skewed figures supplied in a Freedom of Information request - which led to The Times naming the Royal Borough as the worst council in the country for paying invoices.

Successful Sunday opening for libraries set to continue - [2014-08-14]
Royal Borough libraries are expected to continue opening on a Sunday to make their services even more accessible to residents. This would mean an extra 33 hours of Sunday access to local libraries compared to before the scheme launched.
